Great Location, would recommend!

Amazing hotel. Staff were very helpful and professional. We got upgraded when we arrived at the hotel as well which was great. Very close to dam square and the centre, most main attractions within walking distance. There was also a tram right outside which was super handy to take in and out. would highly recommend!

Great Stay, Would Highly Recommend

Pillows and blanket very comfortable, and we had great customer service. Great location as a lot of attractions are walkable, but the tram also stops right around hotel if needed. Rooms were clean but a bit small, but that is to be expected. Only complaint was the room was a little on the warm side.

Good location, Poor Accommodation

Start with the positives Staff helpful. Great location. Take # 14 tram right outside hotel into the centre. You can actually walk, it takes around 18 min, but you do get to see a lot more doing this. Great Kabab house in the corner that prepares fresh food and you can sit in. A couple of other nice places to eat in this area. ARTIS museum, zoo , Holocaust Museum and Theatre House just 2 mins walk. Good heating system, fridge in room with team and coffee facilities, and shower pressure good. Negatives Overpriced Poor accommodation with a few concerning features like a cupboard fixed to the wall right in the fire path as you enter and leave the room. Loose power points on the walls. Room small and cosy, double glazed but the window could open. Noisy if your located at the front of the hotel. Shower had a step in that I kept tripping on. The shower itself was quite basic with a tiled ridge, but horrendous shower curtains. Not the most hygienic thing to be hanging in this area. The toilet had limited room due to the ridge around the shower. The shower itself was good. Bed, not sure how to describe. 3 inch mattress topper on top of a bed frame. 2 massive pillows with white linen. Room service, non existent. You have to ask for your room to be cleaned and your bins emptied 24 hrs in advance. You can request clean towels though. Breakfast, not great for the money they are asking. A cheap candle heating the food tray. Bland and basic. Watched the staff scoop the crumbs off the table right onto the floor.

Bed bug, freezing room what else?

Initially I had a room (which for her bad luck my colleague had the previous night) and apparently it was full of bed bugs. Unacceptable. How hard is to do the bare minimum, for real? There is clearly an infestation and more people will report this. Besides that the new room that I switched to, had no thermostat or ac to regulate the room temperature. With window frames that old you dont have room regulation mechanism? The news have been spread already in hundreds of colleagues and friends in Amsterdam cause both matters are not minor at all. I am really sad that this happened, cause the staff was really polite and helpful.

Friendly staff, great breakfast and good value

Friendly staff, great breakfast and good value. It was about a 20 min walk into the heart of the city, which did feel a bit further out than expected, but didnt create too much of a problem. The City is amazing and there is so much to see and do. Would highly recommend
